| Jerome Personnel/Business Temps provides our client companies with qualified personnel to meet
their employment needs. We try to get a better profile of our applicants by obtaining as much information
as possible on their skill level, education, and personal history. Working and personal references are
checked on all qualified candidates. Credit and criminal background checks are obtained upon request
of the client (additional fee). General aptitude testing is performed to evaluate the level of basic
English and math skills. Our administrative/clerical department, in addition to the above testing and
background checks, also conducts extensive computerized testing on Word Perfect, Lotus, data entry, typing,
and other programs. The result of these tests are forwarded to the client along with the candidates' resume.
Our agency has two seperate placement departments that can handle your staffing needs. As mentioned
earlier our counselors work with the clients individually to create a proposal that is custom designed
to suit their employment needs. Therefore, the following information is just an outline of each department
and is subject to be changed based on the client's personnel needs.
Jerome Personnel: Our Permanent Placement division is a full service department that can handle all of your
permanent placement needs.
* We recruit, interview and test qualified candidates.
* Fees are charged to the company at 10% of the employee's annual salary, due within 15 days of hire date.
* Our guarantee policy extends for 60 days from the date of hire, and Jerome Personnel agrees
to make a successful replacement at no additional fee.
* Successful placements are the foundation of our business!
Business Temps: Our Temporary and Temporary to Permanent division can handle any of your staffing needs. For example:
* Maternity * Vacation * Inventory * Peak Periods
* Special Projects * Provide temp while you interview
* Employees are available for short and long term assignments.
* "Temp to Perm" program offers employees to be on our payroll for a minimum of 8 weeks and then available for permanent
hire by the company without any additional fee.
* Our guarantee policy extends for the length of the employee's assignment. If at any time the
client is not 100% satisfied with the employee's work performance, then a replacement will be made immediately.
In addition, if our agency is notified within the first 4 hours of a new temporary placement, we will
gladly replace the employee and not charge for those 4 hours.
Jerome Personnel/Business Temps maintains a drug free workplace,
so in accordance with that policy we drug test our employees once a job offer has been made by the client company.
We also perform random drug tests on our temporary employees, as well as a drug/alcohol test for post-accident,
work-site incidents. A drug/alcohol test is also given to all employees that receive medical attention under our
workers' compensation insurance when being treated for a work related injury.
Safety in the workplace is a #1 concern for Jerome Personnel/Business Temps. Our agency
employs a full-time certified Safety Manager. His responsibilities include: site inspections
of client companies, to ensure that our employees are working in a safe environment, forklift
certification on client companies' premises in accordance with OSHA regulations, drug testing,
workers' compensation reporting and follow-up, and the issuing of all safety equipment. He also
performs safety training in several areas that include but are not limited to: PPE, Fire Prevention,
Lockout/Tagout, Basic First Aid, Safety in the Workplace, and HAZCOM. We will develop a safety
training program that meets the needs of our client companies if they so desire. Our agency provides
our employees with safety equipment such as support back belts, hard hats, safety glasses, work gloves.
And other equipment as needed.
Business Temps is currently servicing approximately 40 client companies on a regular, long term basis.
We also have 25-30 additional local businesses that contact us on an as need be basis or seasonal need.
Jerome Personnel/Business Temps obtains employees from the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA).
This includes: Augusta, Martinez, Evans, Thompson, Appling, Harlem, N. Augusta, and Aiken. Our agency
also payrolls employees all over the United States. Though, Jerome Personnel/Business Temps has
only one location in Augusta, we are capable of payrolling employees in any facility our client companies
wish to staff with temporary employees. Offering direct deposit to our employees has made this process much more efficient.
